Where do I pay my property taxes?
Pend Oreille County Courthouse is located at 625 W 4th St in Newport, at the corner of 4th and Scott. The Courthouse contains offices for the Commissioners, the Auditor, the Treasurer, the Assessor, Planning and Public Works. The hours are from 8am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday except for holidays. Please see the calendar on the home page for closure holidays.
The Pend Oreille County Hall of Justice is located at 321 S Garden Ave, on Garden Avenue between 1st and 5th streets. The Hall of Justice contains offices for both Superior and District Court, the Sheriff and Jail facilities, the Prosecutors and Public Defenders offices. The hours are from 8am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday except for holidays. Please see the calendar on the home page for closure holidays
