Auditor’s Office is closed to walk-in customers

Remote services are available

The Pend Oreille County Auditor’s office will be closing its Licensing, Recording, Elections and Accounting offices to the public for drop-in business starting at 8:00 am on Monday, March 23. The Auditor’s offices will continue to operate, but citizens will access them via phone, email, websites, drop boxes, and in limited circumstances, by pre-arranged appointment. Most transaction can be accomplished by means other than person to person interaction. We are here to help you, but please call first.

With the risk of COVID-19 increasing in Washington State, we want to share remote options for doing business at the Pend Oreille County Auditor’s Office.

Elections

  • Washington is a vote-by-mail state. You do not need to vote in person, as long as you are registered to vote.
  • Voter registration is available through the state’s VoteWA portal.
  • Please call 509-447-6472 or email elections@pendoreille.org if you have questions.

If you are sick, please stay home, rest and remember to:

  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your sleeve.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects (for example, TV remotes and computers).
