Candidate Filing Fee

Filing Fee is 1% of salary for yearly salaries over $1,000. It is $10.00 for an annual salary of $1,000 or less. If paid for attending meeting (per diem), with no fixed annual salary, then no filing fee is required.

  • Registered to Vote
  • Live in District
  • Live in Commissioner District, if applicable

February 12 – Special Election
January 8 – Overseas & Military Ballots Mailed
January 14 – Online & mail-in voter registration & transfers ends
January 25 – Ballots sent to voters. 18-Day voting Period Begins
February 4 – in-person voter registration ends
February 22 – Canvass & Certification

April 23 – Special Election
March 22 – Overseas & Military Ballots Mailed
April 5 – Ballots sent to voters. 18-Day voting Period Begins
May 2 – Canvass & Certification

May 13-17 – Candidate filing week
April 29 – start accepting Candidates Declaration by mail
May 20 – lot drawing ballot for order Election Room 9:00am
May 20 – last day to withdraw 4:30pm

August 6-  Primary Election
June 21 – Overseas & Military Ballots Mailed
July 17-19 – Ballots sent to voters. 18-Day voting Period Begins
August 21 – Canvass & Certification

November 5 – General Election
September 20 – Overseas & Military Ballots Mailed
October 16-18 – Ballots sent to voters. 18-Day voting Period Begins
November 26- Canvass & Certification
