Mission

The mission of the Treasurer’s office is to manage and safe keep public funds while providing excellent customer service in an honest, courteous, and professional manner.

Duties of the Treasurer

The County Treasurer holds a key position of public trust in the financial affairs of local government. Acting as the “bank” for the county, school districts, fire districts, special purpose districts and other units of local government, the treasurer’s office receipts, disburses, invests and accounts for the funds of each of these entities. In addition, the Treasurer is charged with the collection of various taxes that benefit a wide range of governmental units.

2024 Property Tax Information

Per RCW 84.56.020, the 2024 Real and Personal Property Tax Rolls are complete. We are able to collect and receipt for 2024 and prior year taxes at this time. You should receive your 2024 tax statements mid-February 2024. Please notify our office if you do not receive a statement. You may also obtain tax information on our website, by phone, or by coming to the office.

  • 1st half taxes due April 30
  • 2nd half taxes due October 31
