Current Use / Designated Forest Land Reclassification

Re-Classification from Current Use Designated Forest Land to Current Use Farm and Agriculture (over 20 acres)

  1. Must be farmed for commercial purposes
  2. Application fee $500.00 per parcel (recording fees included in application fee)

1st year – Application and inspection

2nd year – Benefit year for all property that has been approved for re-class.

Re-classification from Current Use Farm and Agriculture to Current Use Designated Forest Land

  1. Must have 5 or more acres
  2. Must be used for commercial purposes
  3. Application fee $500.00 per parcel (recording fees included in application fee)

1st year – Application and inspection

2nd year – Benefit year for all property that has been approved for re-class.

*Please note: Non-compliance or change in use that causes removal will result in compensating taxes to be calculated

**Application fees are subject to change

***A $40.00 service charge shall be charged by all office and departments or Pend Oreille County for dishonored payments for whatever reason
